What We Do?

What we do to affect lives

Medical Screening & First Aid

In fulfillment of our national responsibility in contributing towards having a healthy nation, the Jama'at regularly organizes screening exercises (Blood Glucose, Hypertension and Body Mass Index) in various Masjids and Communities around town, and we have been the leading First Aiders during all national Islamic events, including but not limited to the visit of the famous Zimbabwean Islamic Scholar Mufti Ismail Ibn Musa Menk at the national stadium.

Daily Iftar (Breakfast)

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, daily Iftar is organized at our main campus in Kossoh Town, which is geared towards promoting cohesiveness and practice of the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet; climaxed with a general Iftar towards the ending of the blessed Month.

Blood Donation Drive

Donating Blood is believed to be a safe way to save one’s life. Also, regular blood donation gives a tremendous advantage for the donor in terms of health and reward, which are in accordance with the principles of Islam. In celebration of World Blood Donation Day, the Jama’at normally embark on raising awareness on the need for safe Blood and Blood product donation. A donation drive was organized across all the major Government referral hospitals with huge turnouts from our membership and the general public.
